Inspiring thoughts…

June 7, 2012

One of my long-time friends, Sara and her husband (and two little girls) are off sailing the south seas – they’re actually in the Tuamotus at the moment, in the South Pacific.  I knew Sara from high school, as we were in many of the same classes together.  Fast forward some years later after high school and college (we both kept in touch and went to the University of Washington).  We circled back and were both living on sailboats, wandering a bit.  She and her husband, Michael, explored Mexico and even got up to Alaska in the years since – it’s been fun keeping in touch and hearing of their most recent adventure.

Sara had a birthday recently, and she put up a great post that is worth sharing – take a look.

I am so excited you are sailing again! Really looking forward to reading about your upcoming Atlantic crossing and cruising in Europe. That is so cool! Europe is definitely our next fantasy destination. 🙂 Hopefully one day we can share an anchorage again…
